How much money can I make?
Dreamers are projected to make $500 - $1000 per month.
What percentage of profits go to me?
Dream Cream Ice Cream interviews candidates twice per month during evening and weekends. All potential dreamers must be available for a face to face interview.
How many times must I volunteer per week?
2 - 3 times per week for up to 14 hours. Our shortest shifts are 3.5 hours.
Can I be a dreamer if I can't volunteer?
All participants must have volunteers scooping in the shop. If a dreamer is unavailable they must designate other individuals to take their place during select shifts.
How long does each dream campaign last?
Fundraising campaigns are for one full month.
What determines if my dream is selected?
Dreamers are first selected by their dream. It must be a need and have a realistic fundraising amount. The final 12 dreamers are selected based on their ability to meet essential volunteer qualifications.
Do I have to create a brand new ice cream flavor?
Dreamers choose from 75 flavors from Perry's ice cream.
Can I reapply if not selected?
Yes
Can I participate as a dreamer more than once per year?
No. However, you can volunteer for yourself and as a representative for an organization.
Who determines which dreams are selected?
A committee which includes Dream Cream Ice Cream co founders.
