Dream Cream Ice Cream (DCIC) is devoted to helping individuals realize their dreams. The following guidelines clarify funding and eligibility requirements for prospective fundraisers. Please review these items before submitting a complete application and contact info@DreamCreamIceCream.com for more information.
I am 16 years or older.
I am a permanent resident of the U.S. with a social security number or EIN.
My dream is a need. DCIC funds dreams that are considered needs in your life based loosely around Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs (Yes, we’re deep like that). You can justify this need however you like including food, shelter, transportation, education, professional development… etc.
I am available to interview. Dream Cream Ice Cream interviews candidates twice per month during evening and weekends. All potential dreamers must be available for a face to face interview.
I am available to volunteer. This business model requires participants to barter their time in exchange for the donation. Candidates must be available for an initial information session and for self – selected volunteer shifts. Dreamers volunteer up to 14 hours per week in 3 ½ or 7 hour shifts, whichever is more convenient. If the Dreamer is unavailable another individual may serve as a representative throughout the fundraising campaign. This person must be present during the information session and may take the place of the dreamer during any and all volunteer shifts.
I can provide a back-up volunteer. DCIC depends on each dreamer to be present during the volunteer shift. However, in the event of an emergency a back-up volunteer is required to take the dreamer’s place.
